Build Something That Actually Works
Most startups waste time chasing trends. We teach you how to validate ideas, build financial models that hold up under pressure, and create funding strategies that investors actually want to hear.

Financial Models That Actually Make Sense
Spreadsheets aren't scary once you know what numbers matter. We break down cash flow, burn rate, and runway into something you can explain to anyone.
- Build three-year projections that adapt as you grow
- Learn what investors look for in your numbers
- Spot problems before they become expensive
- Create monthly reports you'll actually use

Pitch What Investors Want to Fund
There's a difference between a good idea and a fundable business. You need to show market opportunity, clear revenue paths, and why now is the right time.
- Structure decks that tell a coherent story
- Anticipate the questions investors always ask
- Understand term sheets and equity basics
- Practice your pitch until it flows naturally

Validate Before You Build Too Much
Spending months building something nobody wants is the fastest way to burn through savings. We teach validation methods that work in the Australian market.
- Run customer interviews that reveal real needs
- Test pricing before committing to development
- Build MVPs that actually test your hypothesis
- Know when to pivot and when to persevere

How the Program Actually Works
Starting September 2025, this runs for sixteen weeks. It's structured, but flexible enough to fit around your current work.
Foundation Phase
We start with business model fundamentals and financial literacy. You'll build your first projection model and learn to spot red flags in startup ideas early.
Validation and Testing
Time to get out and talk to potential customers. You'll learn interview techniques, design pricing experiments, and test your core assumptions systematically.
Funding Strategy
Whether you're bootstrapping or raising capital, you need a plan. We cover term sheets, pitch construction, and what Australian investors look for in early-stage deals.
The financial modeling module saved me from making some really expensive mistakes. I thought I understood my burn rate, but turns out I was three months off in my projections. That would've been catastrophic.

Next Intake Opens July 2025
We keep cohorts small so everyone gets proper attention. If you're serious about building something sustainable, let's talk about whether this is the right fit.
